Conan The Treasurer by Barry Smith

Danced around it for 7 years, but the first image is the lame back cover of my beat copy of  Marvel Treasury Edition #4 Conan The Barbarian.  The black n' white is from Tupenney Conan, where we first saw this take on Fritz's Destroyer

Beware The Creeper #2 Cover by Steve Ditko

The Silver Surfer by Jack Kirby

Red Wolf by Neal Adams

Weird Fantasy #21 Cover by Al Williamson an Frank Frazetta

I know, I know, I know, this image has been up a bazillion times (what's a bazillion, class?  Any number with a hundred or more zeroes after it.  Very good, class), but This is onea those rare post where I actually share, and more than an image or images....Okay, okay, cool...the other night they were play'n Password on the Tonight Show, and the word Shaq and Jennifer Biel drew was Camel.  Shaq went first, and gave Jimmy Fallon the clue "hump," to which Jimmy, natch, responded Wednesday.  Jennifer gave her teammate (a forgetful musical guest) the clue "toe," and her teamie almost immediately said Camel.  Game over

Al Williamson by Berni Wrightson

As Flash Gordon, natch.  Berni had been a huge fan of EC, but also, to many of his generation (and me!), Al had single-handedly put an old newspaper strip hero back on the map

The Spawn Of Sligguth by Barry Smith

Doc Strange hannae looked this good since Steve Ditko left.  Marvel Premiere 3 and 4 are a real blip on the art radar

Death Dealer Window Cling by Frank Frazetta

"The carnage begins this winter" (tell me about it).  Okay, the first image is really a sticker, but window cling sounded so....opposite of Death Dealer

Cap VS The Panther by Jack Kirby
